Psychotherapy
Helping you navigate life’s challenges with clarity and understanding.
Get in TouchWhen you’ve learned to approach life with grit and determination, you may appear confident and self-sufficient on the outside; but on the inside, you feel cold and disconnected. I help strong, independent people learn how to build emotional resilience in order to experience deeper, more trusting and supportive relationships.

Here, it’s safe to put the armor down. Underneath our defenses lies the emotional safety, connection, and authenticity we crave.

How Therapy Helps
How can therapy help you?
Therapy can be a powerful tool that can help you overcome social or emotional challenges. Disruptions to your mental health take many forms, and at some point in their lives, everyone goes through challenging times that may require support and guidance.
Therapy can be beneficial for:
Expressing your feelings in a safe space
Therapy provides a confidential and supportive place where you can share your thoughts and emotions openly. You will be listened to with care and without judgement.
Gaining deeper insight into your challenges
Together we can explore the patterns, beliefs and experiences that have shaped your life. Understanding these can help you make meaningful and lasting changes.
Talking about difficult topics
There may be things you feel unable to discuss with friends or family. Therapy gives you a safe and understanding space to talk about them.
Finding better ways to cope
You can learn practical and healthy ways to manage stress, anxiety and other strong emotions. This can help you feel more balanced and in control.
Changing unhelpful patterns
By recognising and working on habits or ways of thinking that no longer serve you, you can create new approaches that support your wellbeing.
Improving relationships
Therapy can help you strengthen your relationships with others and also with yourself. It can support you in building trust, understanding and connection.
Making sense of diagnoses
If you have received a mental health diagnosis, therapy can help you understand what it means for you and find ways to manage and adapt positively.
Healing from trauma
With gentle guidance and support, you can begin to work through painful experiences from the past and reduce their impact on your life today.
Communicating with compassion
Therapy can help you express yourself more clearly and listen more fully, while respecting differences in yourself and others.
I've never been to therapy before. What should I expect?
Therapy is a tool designed to help you explore your thoughts and feelings in a supportive, judgment-free environment. There is no right or wrong way to start—you set the pace, and I am here to guide you.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking clarity in your life, therapy can be a valuable tool. Everyone’s journey is different, and therapy is a space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions safely.
I feel nervous about starting therapy. Is that normal?
Absolutely. Many people feel unsure or nervous about taking the first step. After all, it is a process that requires you to talk about what is bothering you to someone you don’t know. However, therapists are trained to listen attentively, respectfully, and without judgment, avoiding giving advice or opinions. Their goal is to guide you into developing your own fresh perspectives on old problems, and as someone with no personal relationship with you, they often bring objectivity to the difficulties you face.
What should I expect in the first session?
Each session lasts 55-60 minutes. After requesting some personal details, I will briefly explain how the therapy sessions will be conducted. You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and discuss the reasons that brought you to seek counseling. At the end of the session, you can decide whether to return for further sessions, take time to think about it, or stop at any given moment. The choice is yours.
